James is the husband of Erin Fairlight Olsen. They have three children: Gaebriel, Magdeleine, and Myriam. Raised in northeastern Wyoming, James served in the Missouri, St. Louis Mission before receiving an undergraduate degree from BYU in philosophy. He then received a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs from George Washington University, and has just finished coursework toward a PhD in Philosophy at Georgetown. He currently lives in Utah Valley, working on his dissertation while his wife teaches Hebrew full-time at BYU.

So, what’s the philosophy behind the spelling of those names?
Your wife sounds very interesting. Please tell us how she came to know Hebrew.
Of course I mean how her interest in Hebrew came about!
